Come and enjoy a fun evening out with art and wine as we showcase the artworks of two diverse artists Dale Auguston and Deondra Swanigan.
With almost four decades as an artist and educator, Dale Auguston brings his fine art of mosaics, stained-glass and mixed media to the Gallery on Garrison. He has showcased his work in multiple galleries and shared his passion as a teacher at Ozarks Technical Community College for seven years. Dale believes, “Everyone can compose an art piece, it is how we get to the finished piece that makes the difference.” He sees things as they are and thinks of what they could be. “Abstracting what is in front of me. Creating something new from something that already exists. Art as life? My life IS art.”
While serving as a Combat Engineer in the United States Army Reserve, Deondra Swanigan continued his education at Arkansas Tech University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. Deondra has worked with several high-profile clients and corporate agencies and now owns his own business. “My creativity is inspired by things as small as a stain on my living room floor to a Gary Vaynerchuk Instagram post.” Digital Art isn’t Deondra’s only talent so be sure to come see some of his other amazing and moving artwork.
We are excited to bring these two talented artists to Fort Smith and share their works for all to enjoy at the Gallery on Garrison.
See you there!
