Our exhibit in March features the work of NWA artist Cheryl Kellar and local artist Linda Bates. These artists are very different in their styles, aesthetics and the subject matter in their work, but both of them are supremely talented and have mad artistic skills!
Cheryl has been represented in many galleries around NWA and in Little Rock. She mostly creates works that depict fashion! From haute couture to modern to NYC street scenes, you will get lost in the flair and colors bursting from her water color paintings! I cannot WAIT to share this artist’s talent with you all!
Linda Bates is a local artist, living just across the border in Oklahoma with her sweet hubby. Her art will leave you wanting to see more of what she can do for sure. That’s certainly how I felt when I checked out some of her work. She is very talented in many mediums including acrylics, water color, pencils and mixed media. Just wait til you see her nature art. She paints waterfalls and rocks and plant life so well you can almost feel the breeze from the scene laid out before you on canvas! Expect a few surprises from Linda’s artistic arsenal when you see this exhibit. Great surprises!
